The RIO MAGDALENA project consists in dredging the river for more than 900 km in order to guarantee the necessary depth for allowing the navigation of commercial boats.
The dredging project will last more than 10 years and it will create one of the longest navigable waterway in Latin America.
The contractor in charge for the job bought 6 Dragflow Dredging Units. Hydraulic pumps (HY85B and HY50B) each with two hydraulic excavators (EXHY20). Each dredging unit has been coupled with the boom of an earth-moving machine.
Futhermore, Dragflow will also supply two Amphibious Dredges within the end of the year to the same costumer.
