DREDGING OF THE PUN HLAING RIVER

2014 MYANMAR

Project description

River dredging to restore the depth of the Pun Hlaing River (Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Myanmar).

The problem

The Myanmar Irrigation Department has commissioned massive dredging work on the Pun Hlaing River to restore the seabed.

The overall length to be dredged was 48 km: therefore a robust and effective dredging unit was needed.

The solution

DRAGFLOW has supplied a hydraulic pump (HY85B) with side cutters, control valve, pipes and floats.

The length required for the pipes is 130 meters. The production estimated at 400 cubic meters per hour.

The delivery of the units has been a huge success. Estimated and real production coincided, thanks to our accurate calculations, making the buyer very satisfied with our work.
