An alluvial gold mine in Colombia has decided to use a DRAGFLOW dredging pump on an earth moving machine. The pump was fixed to the arm of a Caterpillar amphibious excavator and is controlled by its hydraulic control unit. The dredging unit is composed of the HY50 hydraulic pump and the DTM50 dredging head. The area is used inside the gold mine to drag sand, gravel and mud along the canals in the river extraction area.

Its purpose is guaranteed only on condition that the depth necessary for navigating the boats is maintained.
